Näyttely käsittelee kuvataiteen keinoin tämän hetken ja lähitulevaisuuden yhteiskunnallisia kysymyksiä, joita ihmiskuntana joudumme ratkaisemaan selviytyäksemme maapallollamme. Keskeisiä teemoja ovat ravinto, energia ja teknologia, ja näihin liittyvät ristiriidat ja ihmisyyden olemus.
Lähestymme aihetta visuaalisesti näyttävästi ja taidolla tehdyillä teoksilla, joiden sisältö on luettavissa monipuolisesti, myös itse määrittelemiemme teemojen ulkopuolelle. Teoksissamme on myös selkeitä satiirisia elementtejä. Uskomme, että isojen asioiden käsittely syvällisesti on mahdollista ainoastaan silloin, kun niille on mahdollista myös nauraa. Teoksemme ovat tehty ennen kaikkea rakkaudesta ihmisyyteen, niin vaikeaa kuin se toisinaan onkin, ja vakaasta uskosta siihen että asiat kääntyvät lopulta aina parempaan.
The works of art in the exhibition employ methods of contemporary art to comment the topics relevant to our society that we as the people need to solve today and in the near future for us to survive on our Planet. The main themes are food, energy and technology, and the related conflicts thereby, and the essentials of the humanity.
We approach the theme with visually imposing works executed with high technical skill. The content can be read in diverse ways, also beyond the themes we have ourselves defined. There are also clear satirical elements present. We believe it is possible to process difficult issues thoroughly only if you can laugh at them as well. We create art first and foremost for the love of humanity, for so difficult it sometimes feels, and on the trust that eventually everything will turn for better.
